An Overview Of Gothic Lolita Style

The Gothic Lolita is till now the most well known Lolita style and this particular term refers to the Lolitas of all styles. In the west, this fashion is increasing its popularity in leaps and bounds. Sometimes, the Gothic Lolita style is also described as the Elegant Gothic Lolita style. This name also refers to the clothing line of the brand, Moi-même-Moitié.

Despite of the gothic label, this style is quite different from the western Gothic version. Likewise the other Gothic styles, this style is not that revealing and basically this style is very elegant or cute and lacks the black lipstick and the white powdered lace, which are very common in the Western Goth.

The former type wears a plain black dress with white clothing and look like a cute darker version of the Ama Lolita. On the other hand, the second one is less cute and it is more influenced by the western Goth fashion. Here in this style the motifs like hats, coffins and bats are pretty common.
